Collaborative Professionals

South Toronto Small Practice Group

Lorisa Stein founded the South Toronto Collaborative Small Practice Group in 2007 to offer a forum for newly trained family law collaborative practitioners from all disciplines. Meeting once a month we explore, discuss, debate, develop, create and laugh as we broaden our experience and help each other in a collegial environment. We welcome speakers, participate in challenging role playing, work out roadblocks and process problems and support each other as we learn and develop our collaborative skills.

Topics explored range from team building, the integrative roles of each discipline, cultural competence, global collaborative practice, nonviolent communication and dialogue, negotiation strategies, technology tools, the role of ethics, privilege, transparency and confidentiality, developing child focused parenting plans, and understanding property issues.

If you are a newly trained collaborative family law practitioner, contact Lorisa Stein about joining the South Toronto Collaborative Small Practice Group.

Mentoring One-On-One

If you are a newly trained collaborative practitioner but are unable to participate in a collaborative practice group Lorisa Stein offers one on one mentoring services.

We may choose to meet in person or by phone on a regular basis or when a question or issue arises during a file in which you have been retained as team member.
