There is no charge for the GPS Session©.

Second Opinions
Just as you may seek a second opinion about a medical condition, you have a right to seek a second opinion about your family law issues.
You may be uncertain about what has been accomplished on your behalf. You may find it difficult to get answers to your questions. You simply may want a confidential opinion from another family law lawyer.
The goals when seeking a second opinion are to reduce your confusion and to consider strategies to improve the professional relationship you have with your lawyer. This is not a solicitation to change lawyers.
Professional fees will be charged for this service. A formal Retainer Agreement must be signed and retainer funds provided prior to Lorisa providing legal advice to you.
Independent Legal Advice
You have been asked to obtain Independent Legal Advice by your partner or your spouse’s lawyer. This is a critical step before you sign any document. In a private confidential meeting, Lorisa will explain to you your legal rights and obligations as set out in the document. She will confidentially discuss with you the background facts, your expectations about the document, and tell you exactly what it means, the risks to you and the benefits you are expected to receive.
Lorisa will ensure that full and complete financial disclosure has been exchanged between you and your partner or spouse. She will ensure that you are not being inappropriately directed to sign what may not be in your best interests. Lastly, if there are necessary modifications to the agreement to be made, Lorisa will negotiate hard on your behalf to ensure that your rights are up held.
